Srinagar: The University of Kashmir has been awarded the prestigious A++ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), achieving an impressive CGPA of 3.68. This places KU among the top-ranked universities in the country.
The NAAC peer team had visited the university last month for assessment, during which all major academic, administrative, and infrastructural aspects were thoroughly evaluated.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Nilofer Khan congratulated the university fraternity and credited the achievement to the collective efforts of faculty, staff, and students.
Meanwhile, Office of Chief Minister, J&K, Omar Abdullah, has expressed delight over the development, hailing the achievement a testament of varsity’s academic excellence and commitment to quality education.
“Delighted to know that the University of Kashmir has been accredited with NAAC A++ Grade. A true testament to its academic excellence and commitment to quality education. Heartiest congratulations to administration, faculty & students on this milestone!,” reads an X post by the CM’s office.
