Kashmir: Minor Boy Dies After Balloon Gets Stuck in Throat

Srinagar: In a tragic incident of its type, a minor boy lost his life after a balloon got stuck in his throat in Pattan area of Baramulla district.

Identified as Hafiz Qayoom, from Chanserseer Pattan, the boy reportedly encountered an emergency as a balloon he was blowing up, got stuck in his throat. Despite efforts by the onlookers, the boy couldn’t be rescued.

A pall of gloom has descended in the area over tragic and untimely demise of the boy. (With inputs from news agency KNS)
