Tangdhar: The week-long Karnah Volleyball League 2025–26, organised by the Indian Army, came to a close on Sunday after an energetic series of matches held from December 1 to 7 across the Tangdhar region.
Eight teams from different parts of the Karnah sub-division participated in the tournament, which witnessed strong public turnout and enthusiastic support from local villagers, families, and students.
In the final encounter, Team Baghbela clinched the championship, while Team Dhanni finished as runners-up, earning praise for their spirited performance.
The closing ceremony was attended by the Commander, 104 Infantry Brigade, who felicitated the teams and appreciated the players for their dedication and competitive spirit. The Army described the event as part of its continued efforts to promote sports and strengthen engagement with youth along the LoC.
The league concluded on a positive note, with warm exchanges between the Army and local residents, reflecting the growing bond between the public and the security forces. (via. Peerzada Zubair)
