Journalist MR Elahi Bereaved, HMA, YJAK Extend Condolences

Handwara: Handwara-based journalist Mohammad Ramzan Elahi lost his sister after a brief illness, evoking condolences from different sections of society including Handwara Media Association and Young Journalists’ Association Kupwara.

Faza Begum breathed her last at Seelo Sopore on Wednesday.

In a condolence message HMA, as per Alfaaz – The Words, expressed its heartfelt condolences and sorrow to the entire bereaved Hajam family, especially to colleague Mohammad Ramzan Elahi, over the irreparable loss.

The body led by President Syed Kabir Geelani, his joint fellow Tarique Raheem, Vice President Syed Imtiyaz, General Secretary Aadil Akbar, Aatif Qayoom, Shameem Abdullah, Javid Zargar, Dr. Ab Qayoom, Shameem Bhat, Ajaz Khan, Bhat Danish, Raja Akbar, Lone Sajad, Tariq Rather, Asif Malik and other core members of HMA expressed sorrow and offered deep condolences to the bereaved family.

“We pray to Allah that the departed soul be given peace and granted the highest place in Jannah and the bereaved Family be given courage to bear this irreparable loss”, reads the message.

Meanwhile, Young Journalist Association Kupwara (YJAK) has also extended commiserations with the bereaved family, especially to Mohammad Ramzan Elahi.

“May the departed soul rest in peace and may the bereaved family find much strength to bear this irreparable loss”, said the Association in a joint message by President Ulfat Hussain Malik, Vice president Murtaza Mushtaq and chairman YJAK Wasim Majnoon Mir.

Several other sections of society have also expressed their sympathies with the bereaved Hajam family.
