Kupwara: Jammu and Kashmir Teachers’ Forum in Kupwara bade a warm farewell to shifting Chief Education Officer Abdul Hamid Fani here on Thursday.

The Teachers’ Forum in a statement issued here said Mr. Fani stands out as a beacon of transformative leadership in the annals of education in district Kupwara.

“His tenure as Chief Education Officer (CEO) was marked by an unwavering commitment to excellence, a deep understanding of the challenges faced by the district’s education sector, and an unwavering dedication to the empowerment of students and teachers alike.”

“Under Mr. Fani’s stewardship, the education landscape of Kupwara witnessed a remarkable metamorphosis. He spearheaded a host of initiatives that aimed at bridging the digital divide, enhancing infrastructure, and fostering a culture of innovation in teaching and learning. His efforts resulted in a significant improvement in student enrollment, academic performance, and overall literacy rates”, reads the statement.

“Mr. Fani’s leadership extended beyond policymaking and implementation.
