J&K’s Maiden Int’l Breast Cancer Conference Gets Underway At KU

Srinagar: The much anticipated event, International Breast Cancer Conference, first of its type in Jammu and Kashmir has begun at the University of Kashmir, Srinagar. The three-day in-person event, being hosted by Department of Bioresources, running until October 24, 2024, brings together leading experts from around the world to discuss advancements in breast cancer research, treatment, and prevention.

Medical professionals attending the conference can earn 10 CME credits, approved by the Jammu and Kashmir Medical Council.

With support from key sponsors like the Jammu and Kashmir Bank, SERB-DST (Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India), and JKST&IC, the conference aims to foster collaboration and innovation in the fight against breast cancer.
