Srinagar: Chief Minister of erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir and incumbent PDP President, Mehbooba Mufti on Thursday escaped unhurt in a road accident in her native district Anantnag.
Quoting official sources, news agency Kashmir Scroll reported that Mehbooba’s vehicle met with an accident in the Sangam area, however there were no major injuries to any occupant.
The police soon after reached the spot and Mufti has already proceeded safely towards her destination in Khanabal to meet the fire victims.
“Ms Mufti’s car met with a terrible accident enroute Anantnag today . Thanks to the grace of god she & her security officers escaped unhurt without any serious injuries”, her daughter and PDP spokesperson posted on X.
