JKNC Appoints Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani (Sogami) As CM Omar Abdullah’s Advisor

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference on Wednesday appointed party’s provincial president Kashmir Nasir Aslam Wani (Sogami) as advisor of Chief Minister elected Omar Abdullah.

Wani, who recently lost assembly election to PDP’s Fayaz Ahmad Mir in Kupwara segment, is to take the assignment with immediate effect.

Wani has a long and close association with Omar Abdullah.

The appointment has been ratified by the Jammu and Kashmir administration through an official order. “The terms and conditions of the appoitment shall be notified separately,” reads an order, a copy of which lies with Alfaaz – The Words.
