Kupwara: Jammu & Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI), Kupwara office, kickstarted its weeklong programme for existing entrepreneurs, here on Tuesday.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Kupwara, Mumtaz Ahmad as Chief Guest in presence of Assistant Director Employment Arshid Qadri as Guest of Honour. The programme was also attended by senior officials of JKEDI Kupwara including, Azmat Hussain, Gul Mohammad, and Mohammad Shaban, Ishfaq Ahmad and others.
The programme, the JKEDI officials informed, has been designed to upskill the existing entrepreneurs and imbibe them with knowledge about different government schemes aimed at benefiting those engaged in different employment generation avenues.
The speakers on the occasion underscored the importance of the initiative, and urged the participants to take full advantage of the weeklong programme.
After the conclusion of the inaugural session, the programme started formally with tutors introducing the aims and objectives about the endeavour. The participants actively engaged with the tutors, and enquired from them on many issues of imminent importance.
