Srinagar: In an effort to give a firsthand experience, Jammu & Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI), Kupwara office, on Saturday organised a daylong tour for existing entrepreneurs in the district to industrial estate at Chotipora Handwara.
The tour was part of the week-long Management Development Program (MDP) under Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP).
During the tour, the JKEDI officials including Azmat Hussain, Gul Mohammad, Gulzar Ahmad, Ali Mohammad and others facilitated the interaction of the existing entrepreneurs with the different unit holders at industrial estate Handwara.
The existing entrepreneurs, belonging to different sectors, as per Alfaaz – The Words, actively interacted and to exchange their point of view with the unit holders, and also sought from them ideas and suggestions to improve the performance of respective businesses.
The entrepreneur delegation extended their gratitude to the JKEDI, Kupwara, for organising the tour, which they said helped them to understand the nuances of running the businesses’ in a more successful and pragmatic way.
Notably, the Jammu & Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI), Kupwara office, launched a dedicated weeklong programme for existing entrepreneurs on Tuesday last under Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP), to educate them about knitty gritties of business setup and also to generate awareness about different schemes rolled out by the government on Central and UT level levels aimed at benefiting the entrepreneurs.
