JKBOSE Declares Class 10 & 12 Results; Over 84% Qualify

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Wednesday announced the annual regular results of Class 10 and 12 examinations, recording overall qualification rates of 84.04 percent and 85 percent respectively.

Over 94,000 students had appeared in the Class 10 annual regular exams which commenced on November 3 in the Kashmir division. JKBOSE had set up 994 examination centres across Kashmir, the winter zone of Jammu, and Ladakh to facilitate the examinations.

Of the total Class 10 enrolment, 68,804 candidates were from ten districts of Kashmir division and 25,224 from eight districts of the winter zone areas of Jammu division, besides 660 students from Kargil and 95 from Leh district.

Earlier, JKBOSE Secretary had stated that nearly 95,000 candidates were scheduled to appear for Class 10 exams in the session.

Meanwhile, alongside the declaration of Class 10 results, the Board also notified the annual regular outcome of the Class 12 examinations, in which 85 percent of candidates qualified.
