Kupwara: In a bid to reach out to the deserving families to provide medical facilities across Lolab, a non govt organisation “J&K Youth Welfare Forum”, in unison with the District Social Welfare Office Kupwara and SDH SOGAM, organised a Mega Medical Camp in Dorusa area in Lolab.

The camp was attended by over 500 patients, witnessed the dedicated service of 5 doctors and paramedical staff.

Chairman, J&K Youth Welfare Forum Aijaz Ah Bhat unequivocally extended heartfelt gratitude to the people of Dorusa for their overwhelming support, making the event a resounding success.

He also extended his heartfelt gratitude to SDM Sogam Aijaz Ahmad Bhat, BMO Sogam Dr Fareed Ahmad, Nasir Ahmad, DDC Sogam, Tehsildar Sogam, Inam Ul Nabi, DSWO Kupwara Hidayatulla, BDO Sogam Tawheed, and the team of doctors including Dr Javid, Dr Shahista, Dr Irfan, Dr Tahira, and Dr Shagufta and volunteers of Dorusa welfare trust for their support.

The Chairman emphasized the critical need for such medical camps in far-flung areas where access to healthcare is limited.

He highlighted the dire circumstances faced by communities lacking adequate medical facilities.

Looking ahead, Aijaz Ahmad Bhat announced plans to conduct 10 similar camps in Kupwara, seeking continued cooperation and support from the community.

The success of this initiative underscores the importance of collaborative efforts in addressing the healthcare needs of remote areas.

The J&K Youth Welfare Forum remains committed to extending its reach and making a positive impact on the health and well-being of the people it serves.
