Budgam: Jammu and Kashmir State Organ & Tissue Transplant Organisation (J&K SOTTO) Tuesday organised an awareness programme for the faculty, students and paramedical staff of SAM College of Nursing and Paramedical Science. The SOTTO organised the awareness programme in association with GMC Srinagar.
Dr. Murtaza Bukhari welcomed the SOTTO team on the occasion, which included Joint Director SOTTO J&K Dr. Sanjeev Puri and other office bearers.
Puri on the occasion gave a brief presentation about the National Organ Transplant Programme (NOTP) under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. He also encouraged the audience to participate in the Organ Donation Pledge Drive under Ayushman Bhavv.
Transplant Coordinator SOTTO Irfan Ahmad on the occasion explained the sequence of events in cadaveric organ donation.
