Srinagar: Omar Abdullah led Government of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday allocated four each districts to sitting Cabinet ministers for better coordination, effective implementation of developmental programmes, closer monitoring of public services and other allied matters.
Incumbent Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Chaudhary has been allocated; Jammu, Poonch, Anantnag and Shopian.
Minister for H&ME, School Education, Higher Education and Social Welfare, Sakeena Masood Itoo, as per an order, a copy of which lies with Alfaaz – The Words, has been allocated districts including; Kupwara, Srinagar, Kathua and Samba.
Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Cooperatives and Election, Javid Ahmad Dar, has been entrusted with districts including; Ganderbal, Budgam, Kishtwar and Ramban.
Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport, Science & Technology, Information Technology, Youth Services & Sports and ARI & Trainings, has been allocated with Reasi, Udhampur, Kulgam and Bandipora.
