Srinagar: A BJP MLA sustained injuries on Wednesday while assembly marshals dragged him out from the House following directives from Speaker.
News agency KDC reported that BJP MLA from Akhnoor, Mohan Lal suffered injuries during the squabble in the House and was immediately taken to Srinagar’s Bones and Joint Hospital for treatment.
According to medical sources, Lal has suffered a soft tissue injury during the incident.
Earlier, BJP members created a ruckus in the House, demanding the rollback of a recently adopted resolution on special status, following which Speaker Abdul Raheem Rather ordered marshals to escort out the protesting members.
