Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party on Thursday announced mandates for twenty-four party candidates for the Phase-II and III of assembly elections, scheduled to be held from next month.
J&K Apni Party’s Parliamentary Affairs Committee Chairman, Mohammad Dilawar Mir, in a press communique informed that party’s incumbent Chairperson Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari would be contesting from Chanapora assembly segment.
Among the others having received the mandate from party include; Mohammad Ashraf Mir from Lal Chowk, Zaffar Habib Shah from Central Shalteng, Mohammad Ashraf Palpori from Eidgah, Syed Muzaffar Rizvi from Beerwah, Riyaz Bhadana from Khan Sahib, Ghulam Hassan Mir from Gulmarg, Yawar Dilawar Mir from Rafiabad, Ghulam Mohammad War from Sopore, Shabir Ahmad Lone from Baramulla, Riyaz Ahmad Sheikh from Pattan, Shabir Ahmad Shah from Wagoora Kreeri, Imtiyaz Ahmad Parray from Sonawari, Raja Manzoor from Karnah, Mohammad Amin Bhat from Kupwara, Abdul Rahim Wani from Lolab, Dr. Noor-ud-Din Shah from Trehgam, Muhammad Munnawar Khawaja from Langate, Manjit Singh from Vijaypur, Adv. Sahil Bharti from Ramgarh, Adv. Lovely Mangol from Samba (SC), Ch. Yasir Ali from Bani, Syed Manzoor Hussain Shah from Rajouri (ST) and Shah Mohammad Tantray from Poonch Haveli.
Pertinent to mention here that the three-phase Assembly elections, starting September 18 will conclude on October 1, with the counting process to be held on October 4.
