Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir administration on Wednesday ordered for rescheduling of holiday on account of Shab-e-Qadr otherwise scheduled tomorrow, as per government notified holiday calender.
“In partial modification of Government Orders… it is hereby ordered that the holiday on account of Shab-e-Qadr shall now be observed on 28th of March 2025 (Friday) instead of 27th of March 2025 (Thursday) in the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir,” reads an order.
The holiday will fall on Friday, which is being observed as Juma’tul’Vida, and as such the order will see implementation alternately for both the occasions.
