Srinagar: Two army personnel have lost their lives after a vehicle they were on board, rolled down into a deep gorge in Battery Chashma area of Ramban district on Sunday.
News agency JKNS quoted official sources as saying that the vehicle, carrying two personnel, met with the accident earlier today. “Immediately after the incident, rescue teams from the Army and civil administration rushed to the spot. However, both jawans were found dead by the time rescue teams reached the bottom of the gorge,” they said.
“A cognizance into incident has been taken and further investigation set in motion,” they added.
