Sheikh-ul-Hadees Mufti Nazir Ahmad Qasmi, Known Hadith Tutor from Mumbai Mufti Ashraf Mahmood Palanpori, Other Top Scholars Attend Daylong Event

Srinagar: Jamia Islamia Arabia Taleem-ur-Quran Muqam-i-Shahwali Drugmulla Kupwara marked its golden jubilee here on Sunday. The daylong event saw attendance from top scholars including Sheikh-ul-Hadith Dar-ul-Uloom Raheemiya Bandipora and Muslim Law Board member Mufti Nazir Ahmad Qasmi and known Hadith tutor from Mumbai Mufti Ashraf Mahmood Palanpuri.

The event held at Central Eidgah Muqam-i-Shahwali Drugmulla, as per news agency GNS, also saw participation of Incharge Habibia Masjid Jogeshwari Mumbai Maulana Tahir Habib Palanpori besides many other top scholars from within and outside district Kupwara.

On the occasion, the scholars highlighted the teachings of Quran and Sunnah and called upon the Muslim Ummah to adhere to the principles of Islam to see the best of this world and the hereafter.

A management member, part of the congregation said that today’s event was observed to mark the fiftieth foundation day of the seminary.

“Four students were also consecrated on the eve on completion of memorisation (Hifz) of Holy Quran,” he said.

Mufti Mohammad Tayyab, the administrator of the seminary, who also is son of the founder of seminary Mufti Jamal-ud-Din, while expressing his satisfaction over the conduct of the event said that the daylong event saw fair participation from people from far and wide.

The administrator thanked the management members including; Ghulam Mohammad Peer, Mohammad Yousuf Shah, Haji Abdul Ahad Hajam, Ghulam Rasool Mir, Habibullah Peerzada, Haji Ghulam Rasool and all others who facilitated in the hassle-free conduct of the event.
