Lolab (Kupwara): The Indian Army organised a four-day volleyball tournament at Shrant High School in Lolab Valley, aimed at promoting sportsmanship, healthy living and constructive youth engagement while strengthening community ties in the region.

The tournament saw participation from 16 teams representing different areas of the Lolab Valley and was conducted in a knockout format. Matches played on December 16 and 17 drew considerable interest, with teams displaying competitive spirit, discipline and sportsmanship.

The event progressed to the quarter-finals and semi-finals on December 18, culminating in the final match on December 19. The final was contested between Team Dherian Camp and Big Shots Dever. Team Dherian Camp emerged victorious on the court; however, the first prize was awarded to Big Shots Dever as a goodwill gesture, underlining the emphasis on sportsmanship and unity.
