Independent Candidate Haji Mohammad Hanifa Wins Ladakh Parliamentary Constituency

Srinagar: Independent candidate Haji Mohammad Hanifa has won the Ladakh Parliamentary Constituency.

Hanifa defeated his nearest rivals INC’s Tsering Namgyal and BJP Candidate Tashi Gyalson.

Hanifa had severed his ties with the National Conference after the party leadership developed some differences on the announcement of candidates for the Ladakh seat.
