Idara Al Itqan Delegation Condoles Demise of Mother of Mirwaiz of North Kashmir

Handwara: A delegation of Idara Al Itqan led by its Administrator Maulana Shah Muhammad Asghar Kermani on Tuesday visited Handwara to express condolences to Mirwaiz of North Kashmir Hazrat Maulana Abdul Aziz Quraishi on the demise of his mother.

The delegation met the bereaved family and conveyed sympathies to Hazrat Maulana Quraishi Sahib and his relatives. Members of the delegation paid tribute to the late woman, describing her as dignified and known for her moral conduct and devotion to family values.

The late mother hailed from Hanga area of Handwara. After the early demise of her husband, she brought up her children with perseverance and commitment, enabling them to contribute in the fields of education, religious scholarship, and public service.

Hazrat Maulana Abdul Aziz Quraishi is a senior Islamic scholar and Mirwaiz of North Kashmir. He serves as President of Rabita Madaris Arabiya District Kupwara and Sadr ul Mudarriseen at Central Darul Uloom Dudhwan. Another son is serving as District President of the Private Schools Association Kupwara, while her grandson Faizan Quraishi is a journalist and writer.

Idara Al Itqan expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul. The institution also prayed for patience and strength for the family to bear the loss.
