Handwara: Miscreants Slash Several Kanals of Paddy Crop in Chontipora Village

Handwara: In a troubling incident of its type, miscreants on intervening Saturday and Sunday night slashed almost six kanals of paddy crop in Chontipora village in Qalamabad Mawer.

The targeted crops belonged to Ghulam Hassan Khan and his brother.

The act of vandalism has not only caused substantial financial loss to the farmers but has also raised concerns about the safety of agricultural lands in the area.

Local authorities are investigating the matter besides seeking leads to apprehend those responsible for this destructive act.

Community members have been in the meantime urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to help prevent further incidents of this nature.
