Srinagar: A delegation led by senior PDP leader and former Cabinet Minister Syed Basharat Hussain Bukhari, on Sunday visited to extend condolences to bereaved families of Kalaroos and Sogam, who lost their loved ones in a tragic bus accident at Vodhpora Handwara on Saturday.
The party level delegation included incumbent MLA Kupwara Mir Mohammad Fayaz, senior leader Mir Azad Parvaz, and youth leader Adv Waqar ul Haq Khan, and various other senior workers and party activists.
The delegation while interacting with the bereaved families, shared their grief and sorrow over the untimely demise of Aasiya Rashid (Kalaroos), and Mymoona Ali (Sogam).
Praying for eternal peace and solace to the departed souls, the delegation also prayed for forbearance to the bereaved families, and a swift recovery to those injured in the tragic accident.
“We stand by the families in this hour of utter grief and sorrow, and ask from Almighty to grant the young and innocent souls highest ranks in Jannah, and also seek forbearance to the affected families,” said senior PDP leader Basharat Bukhari as per Alfaaz – The Words, adding, “We also invoke mercy of Almighty Allah to bring prompt health and stability to the injured students.”
Pertinent to mention here that two students died, and almost two dozen students were hospitalised with different bodily injuries, after a college bus carrying them met with a fatal accident near Vodhpora Handwara on Saturday.
