Srinagar: At least six people were injured in a ‘grenade blast’ in ‘Sunday Market’ area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Sunday.

News agency quoted a top police officer as saying that ‘militants lobbed a grenade in a busy Market near TRC resulting in injuries to six people.’

“All of them have been immediately shifted to nearby hospital for treatment,” said the officer, adding “all are stable as they have recieved few splinters.”

Soon after the incident, whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
