Kupwara: Educationist Ms. Naseema Begum, Branwari Kupwara, on Wednesday attained superannuation after serving department for almost thirty long years.
Engaged in education department in late eighties as ‘Teacher’, Ms. Naseema Begum served in different educational institutions throughout her tenure, and eventually attained her superannuation on ‘Master grade’ at Government Middle School Gulgam.
To mark the occasion and to honour the retiree, Govt. Girls Middle School Gulgam, Kupwara organized a heartfelt farewell ceremony here, which was graced with the benign presence of Chief Education Officer (CEO) Kupwara Mehraj Din Shah, Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Trehgam Abdul Ahad Lone, National Vice President of the Teachers’ Federation Mohammad Amin Khan, ZEO Vilgam Manzoor Ahmad and several other dignitaries, including Incharges of various schools from the region.
Speaking on the occasion, the CEO Kupwara Mehraj Din Shah lauded Naseema Ji’s unwavering commitment to the cause of education and her significant contributions in shaping young minds.
The National Vice President of the Teachers Federation Mohammad Amin Khan also highlighted the retiree educationist’s role as a mentor and an inspiration to both colleagues and students alike.
Ms. Naseeam Ji on the occasion expressed her gratitude for the love and support she received throughout her career and encouraged the teaching fraternity to continue striving for excellence in education.
The school staff, students, and invited guests paid rich tributes to her legacy with emotional speeches, cultural performances, and tokens of appreciation.
