G’bl Youth Electrocuted to Death ‘While Repairing Inverter’ at Home

Srinagar: A 22-year-old youth died after suffering a high-volt current at his home in Gulshan Nagar in Wakoora area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

An official told Alfaaz – The Words, that one Suhail Ahmed Bhat, son of Ghulam Nabi Bhat, suffered a fatal electric shock ‘while he was attempting to repair an inverter’ at his home.

Suhail, the official said, was immediately rushed to the Primary Health Centre (PHC) Wakoora for medical attention, however doctors at the facility declared him brought dead upon arrival.

“An investigation is underway to ascertain the circumstances and collect necessary details surrounding the incident,” added the official.
