Srinagar: A fruit vendor was injured during a scuffle with another, in famous Tulip Garden here on Saturday.
News agency Kashmir Bulletin quoted sources as saying that two local fruit vendors, engaged in a scuffle with each other, and during the course of time, one of the enraged fruit vendor stabbed the other with a sharp object.
Identifying the warring duo as Faheem Ahmad and Abid Ismail, the sources said that Faheem Ahmad was injured after stabbed by the other individual.
“Soon after the incident, local police swung into action, and arrested the assailant,” they said.
“The injured person has been evacuated to SKIMS Soura hospital for immediate treatment,” they added.
“The overall situation in the garden is normal, and going as per routine,” added the sources.
