Fantasy Sports Platform Dream11 Receives ₹28,000 Crore GST Notice: Report

New Delhi: DGGI, Mumbai, on Tuesday (October 3, 2023) sent two of the highest-amount GST notices to two online gaming companies. While it sent a show cause notice of Rs 28,000 crore to Dream 11, it sent a show cause notice of Rs 20,000 crore to Play Game 24/7.

The notice sent to Dream 11 is the highest-amount GST notice sent to any company so far.Dream 11 has already filed a writ petition in the Bombay High Court on the Maharashtra State GST notice.

It is learnt that DGGI has also been made a party in Dream 11’s petition.

All the online gaming, casino and horse racing companies are on DGGI’s radar since they are accused of not paying GST. (Agencies)
