Faheem Mir Honoured for Contribution to Mission YUVA in Kupwara

Kupwara: The District Administration Kupwara on Monday felicitated Faheem Mir, Assistant Faculty at the Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI), for his outstanding contribution to the effective implementation of Mission YUVA at the district level.

The felicitation was conferred by Additional Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Mufti Fareed-ud-Din, during the Republic Day ceremony, in recognition of Mir’s dedicated efforts in promoting entrepreneurship and youth empowerment initiatives under Mission YUVA. His role was instrumental in strengthening outreach, implementation, and coordination of the programme across the district.

Officials noted that Mission YUVA has played a significant role in encouraging self-employment and enterprise development among the youth, with sustained institutional support from JKEDI.

The recognition is seen as recognition from the district administration’s towards individuals who have made meaningful contributions to socio-economic development and youth-centric initiatives in Kupwara.
