Encounter Breaks Out In Sopore Area 

Srinagar: A gunfight has broken out between militants and security forces  in Nowpora area of North Kashmir’s Sopore.

As per reports, a joint team of Police and army launched a cordon and search operation in Nowpora.

As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.

News agency GNS reported to have confirmed from a senior police officer about exchange of firing between militants and security forces in the area.
