Srinagar: Kashmir-based seamer Rasikh Salam who faced the only and last delivery of the innings against Pakistan hit the ball out of the ground to help team India go past 180 runs in a match of Emerging Asia Cup.
Helped by a solid opening stand of 68 runs, team India posted a target of 183 runs. For India, Abhishek Sharma scored 35, Prabhsimran 36, Tilak Verma 44 and Nehal Wadera 25.
Coming into bat, with a single left, Rasikh Salam, who made the cut to the team, hit the only ball he faced off Mohammed Imran to a gigantic six.
The second innings has already begun and Pakistan is already two down with the Captain Mohammed Harris and Omair Yousaf back to the pavilion. Pakistan currently is 23-2.
Rasikh Salam is yet to bowl any over, when this report was being filed.
