Eid Al-Adha: Kupwara Admin Directs Officials to Ensure Proper Disposal of Qurbani Offal, Animal Hides

Srinagar: Kupwara administration has instructed all officials across the district to ensure proper disposal of Qurbani offal and animal hides on upcoming Eid Al-Adha eve.

As learnt by Alfaaz – The Words, the Ayushi Sudan led administration has passed on clear cut directions to all the officials to ensure due compliance of the instructions.

Cautioning against wayward disposal of the sacrificial offal and hides, the district administration officer has remarked that the scattering of the remains not only creates health and hygiene issues, but at the same time comes in utter disregard of the spirit and sanctity of ‘Qurbani’ offered on the auspicious occasion.

The administration has urged the public not to throw the offal and hides of sacrificial animals out in the open on the roadsides, alleys or into water bodies and instead bury and dispose off all such sacrificial remains properly.
