Edu Institutions in Kmr Parts to Remain Closed till Weekend

Srinagar: All educational institutions in several parts of Kashmir valley will remain closed upto May 10 (Saturday), informed Directorate of School Education Kashmir.

“All Government and Private Schools of Baramulla, Kupwara, Sub-Division (Gurez) and schools falling in the proximity of Srinagar and Awantipora Airport shall remain closed on 9th and 10th of May 2025 as precautionary measures,” reads a communique.

On the other hand, Divisional Commissioner Jammu has ordered closure of all educational institutions tomorrow.

“In view of the prevailing situation all Schools, Colleges & educational institutions (private as well as Government) in the districts of Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Rajouri and Poonch shall remain closed tomorrow on 9th May as well,” reads a communique.

The educational institutions have been already shut for the past few days in the wake of flare up in relations between India and Pakistan.
