DSEK Announces Change in School Timings Across Kashmir

Srinagar: The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) Saturday announced new school timings for both Government and Recognized Private Schools across the Kashmir Division, effective from August 12 (Monday).

According to an order issued by Director of School Education Kashmir, the schools within Srinagar Municipal Limits: 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM, while Schools outside Municipal Limits of Srinagar District and other areas of Kashmir Province: 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM

The order supersedes all previous directives regarding school timings, even as authorities have emphasized that all concerned institutions must strictly comply with the new schedule.

“Any deviation from the order will be taken seriously and may result in appropriate action.” (KB)
