Kupwara: As a goodwill gesture known, known general surgeon from North Kashmir Dr. Ghulam Nabi Lone has announced his house makeshift shelter for commoners as flood-like situation has hit various parts along Kupwara-Srinagar highway.
“As we grapple with the unprecedented situation in wake of ongoing flood-like, I throw open my under-construction house for anyone who might be in need of shelter,” Lone said in a message.
“Don’t hesitate, just come and provide us with a chance to serve you, for it is a situation which demands us to stand united. Together we go through this also,” reads the message further.
