DPAP’s Preferred Candidate from B’la LS Segment Shows Disinterest To Contest LS Elections, Party Likely To Announce Fresh Face Soon

Srinagar: Shoaib Nabi Lone, the Democratic Progressive Azad Party’s preferred candidate for Baramulla Lok Sabha segment, has expressed his disinterest to contest the upcoming elections paving way for the announcement and subsequent nomination of a fresh face from the segment by the party.

As learnt by Alfaaz-The Words, Shoaib Nabi Lone who the GN Azad led party hinted at being the probable candidate from the party for Baramulla segment few days before, has conveyed to the party higher ranks about his decision not to contest the elections.

Several party office bearers and supporters of Lone are currently at the residence of Lone in Baramulla regarding the final announcement of the decision.

In the meantime it has been learnt that Lone, if at all is dropped, is likely to be replaced either by DPAP General Secretary Shabnum Rafeeq or Dr. Abdul Ahad Yatoo (Hyderbeigh Pattan).
