Kupwara: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Ayushi Sudan, Senior Superintendent of Police Shobhit Saxena are among the high-profile dignitaries having greeted the people, especially those inhabiting the north Kashmir district, on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Underscoring that Eid-ul-Fitr marks the culmination of the period of fasting during the holy month of Ramzan, Ms. Ayushi Sudan said that this occasion highlights the joy of sharing and inspires all to work towards building a compassionate, harmonious, peaceful and prosperous society.
“May the spirit of Eid ul-Fitr inspire us all to be kind, compassionate and generous towards others,” Sudan said, adding “May it bring happiness, peace, harmony and endless blessings and strengthen mutual goodwill among us all.”
Senior Superintendent of Police Shobhit Saxena also felicitated the people on the joyous occasion. “I on behalf of Kupwara Police wish the people a very Happy Eid. The district police wishes for well-being and joy of all the people here, so that Kupwara continuous to see peace and tranquility,” said Saxena in his brief message.
Among the others greeting the people on the occasion included; ADC Kupwara Mohammad Rouf ur Rehman, Peoples’ Conference Chairperson & party’s Baramulla segment candidate Sajjad Gani Lone, PDP leader, who also is party’s Baramulla segment Lok Sabha Candidate, Fayaz Ahmad Lone, Vice Chairman DDC Haji Farooq Mir, DDC Nasir Nazir Lone and others.
The respective SDMs and Tehsildars have also extended their felicitations to the people on the joyous occasion.
