Kupwara: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Ayushi Sudan and Senior Superintendent of Police Ghulam Jeelani Wani on Monday extended their greetings to the people on the auspicious eve of Shab-e-Miraj.
Ms. Ayushi Sudan while extending her greetings also prayed for peace, progress and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir. “I hope that the auspicious occasion of Shab-e-Miraj will be a harbinger of peace and promote the spirit of brotherhood, harmony and amity among people of all faiths,” reads the message.
“I pray for peace, progress, and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir,” she added.
In the meantime, Senior Superintendent of Police Ghulam Jeelani Wani, also wished people on the eve. “Dear People of Kupwara, On the holy occasion of Shab-e-Meraj, I send my warm greetings and best wishes to you all,” the message reads, adding, “this sacred night reminds us of the importance of faith, kindness, and unity in our lives and our community.”
“May this blessed night strengthen the spirit of brotherhood, bring peace and harmony among us, and fill our lives with happiness and prosperity. I pray for the progress and well-being of everyone in Kupwara and across Jammu and Kashmir,” the message reads further.
