Srinagar: Cyber Police, Zone Kashmir, on Saturday said to have arrested a social-media user accused of posting objectionable content online thereby hurting religious sentiments of a particular community.
“Police swiftly responded to objectionable content online, arresting the accused for hurting religious sentiments. Legal action has been initiated,” wrote Cyber Police in a post on ‘X’.
“We urge social media users to refrain from sharing such material. Spreading content that offends religious sentiments will result in legal action,” reads the post further.
