CUK Gives Extension to Winter Vacation

Srinagar: The Central University of Kashmir (CUK) has announced the extension of prevailing winter vacation till February 14 due to inclement weather and ongoing student internship programs outside Jammu & Kashmir.

The varsity in a notification said that the regular classwork will be conducted online from February 10 to February 14. “The decision was made following a meeting of Deans and Heads of Departments, with approval from the competent authority, to ensure that academic activities continue smoothly despite the ongoing weather challenges.”

The varsity has in the meantime directed Heads and Coordinators of Departments to efficiently structure the academic timetable to ensure that the syllabus for the even semester is completed before the End Semester Examinations (ESE).
