Qalamabad [Handwara]: Condolences have poured in from different quarters on the sad demise of the wife of Haji Abdul Gani Wani, mother of Manzoor Ahmad Wani and Mother-in-law of Khurshid Hussain Reshi, Zonal Coordinator Zone Mawer. She was 56.
Wife of Haji Abdul Gani Wani as per family was not feeling for a considerable time now and subsequently breathed her last on Wednesday at her home in Batagund Mawer.
Handwara Media Association (HMA) led by its president Aatif Qayoom condoling the demise, expressed heartfelt commiserations with the bereaved family especially to Zonal Cultural Coordinator Mawer Khurshid Hussain Reshi Manzoor Ahmad Wani and other bereaved family members.
“In this hour of grief the entire HMA stands in solidarity with the bereaved family”, reads a media statement.
Expressing his sympathies, Fraternity Chief Spokesperson Murtaza Mushtaq beseeched Almighty for eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family in these testing times.
A condolence meeting was also held and participated by the fraternity members during which the participants shared sympathies with the bereaved family and especially to colleague Khurshid Hussain Reshi.
Senior National Conference Leader and former MP SD Shariq also expressed his grief and sorrow on the sad demise of Haji Abdul Gani Wani’s wife.
In a message SD Shariq conveyed his sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and forbearance to the bereaved family.
Member, District development Council Mawer Khurshid Ahmad Dar and BDC chairman mawer Tahir Ahmad Mir also extended their heartfelt condolences with the family.
Taking to social-networking site Facebook, Chairman Teachers Forum J&K Mohammad Amin Khan wrote; “Deeply saddened to hear about the demise of the mother-in-law of Khurshid Hussain Reshi. My family joins me to extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. May Allah grant her maghfirat and highest place in Jannat.”
Acting President AIP Khurshid Ahmad Shiekh also extended his condolences with bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
