Srinagar: A condolence meeting was held on Saturday at the Community Hall, Elahibagh, near the Power Grid Station, in memory of Late Dr Rozi Jeelani, Medical Officer, Health Services, who passed away in Mecca Mukarramah while performing Umrah.
Late Dr Rozi Jeelani, wife of Dr Rouf Jeelani, Senior Dental Surgeon, Health Services, was remembered as a committed and compassionate medical professional. Speakers recalled her dedicated service and professional conduct, noting that her passing has caused a profound sense of loss within the medical fraternity and the wider society.
The meeting was attended by relatives, friends, colleagues from the Health Department, senior officials, social representatives, and members of the public. Participants offered condolences to the bereaved family and paid tributes, highlighting her humility, integrity, and lifelong devotion to patient care.
Special prayers were offered for the maghfirah of the departed soul. The gathering prayed for her elevation in Jannat ul Firdous, the acceptance of her Umrah, and strength for the family to bear the loss with patience.
