Tarathpora: Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Kupwara Dr. Masrat Iqbal Wani on Saturday paid a visit to the New Type Primary Health Centre (PHC) Tarathpora Ramhall, where he interacted with the local population and took stock of the healthcare facilities.
During the visit, several pressing issues were raised by the locals, including the shortage of medicines, lack of essential equipment, and inadequate staff at the health facility.
The meeting witnessed the participation of around 40 respected citizens from the area, including prominent speakers such as Farooq Ahmad, Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, and Advocate Azad Parwaz, who presented a detailed account of the challenges being faced by the people.
The CMO gave a patient hearing to the concerns and assured the gathering that all issues raised would be looked into on a priority basis. He promised swift redressal and necessary action to improve healthcare services in the area.
The visit was seen as a significant step towards bridging the gap between the administration and the local populace in addressing grassroots health concerns.
