CIK Conducts Early-Morning Raids Across Kashmir in Ongoing Terror Case Investigation

Srinagar: The Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) on Tuesday carried out a series of early-morning searches at several locations across the Valley as part of a continuing probe into a ‘terror conspiracy’ involving a medical professional.

News agency quoted sources as saying that coordinated raids were underway in Srinagar, Anantnag and Kulgam, with teams gathering material evidence relevant to the investigation. They added that searches were also being conducted inside the Super Speciality Hospital at Shireen Bagh, Srinagar.

The operation was still in progress when reports last came in, and further details are awaited.
