Srinagar: Veteran Broadcaster & Former Deputy Director All India Radio (previously Radio Kashmir) Srinagar, Syed Humayun Qaisar was felicitated on the eve of World Disability Day function.
The celebrated broadcaster, as per Alfaaz-The Words, felicitated by Anam Sneh Parivar Allahabad (Prayagraj) for his generous contribution towards the cause over the past three decades, received the award at the hands of incumbent Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Abhinav Theatre Jammu.
The audience on the occasion gave a standing ovation to the household name, who besides known for his broadcasting skills, has a great bearing on shaping the careers of many youths in Jammu and Kashmir and beyond.
Sharing the news of him receiving the award, Qaisar in a Facebook Post said he was felicitated for his ‘humble contribution towards the cause (Disability) over past three decades’.
The news of Qaisar getting acknowledged was well reciprocated from cross sections of life as they lavished praise on the award recipient for his services towards the society in general and towards the youth in particular.
