Boniyar Accident: 7 Bodies Recovered, 8 Injured Under Treatment

Srinagar: Seven persons are confirmed to have died and eight others are under treatment at a hospital, in the aftermath of a deadly road accident at Bujhthalan in Boniyar area of Baramulla district.

Srinagar-based news agency Kashmir Scroll quoted an official as saying that bodies of the passengers have been recovered and will be handed over the families after medico-legal formalities.

The official identified the deceased as; Tahira Begum (35) wife of Reyaz Ahmad Sheikh, Ameena Bano (17) daughter of Abdul Gani Sheikh, Mohd Maqbool Sheikh (70) son of Ahmad Sheikh, Mohd Maqsood Sheikh (35) son of Gh Rasool Sheikh of Bujthalan, Abdul Rehman Lone (60) son of Fatah Lone, Sameena Begum (45) wife of Abdul Hameed Sheikh and Sarwa Begum (55) wife of Late Ghulam Mohd Bakhshi.

“The injured persons are being treated at GMC Baramulla”, the official said further.
