Body of 22-Year-Old Handwara Youth Retrieved

Srinagar: Body of a 22-year-old youth, who accidently slipped into a pond in Lachampora area in Rajwar Handwara, has been retrieved.

As learnt by Alfaaz – The Words, one Khurshid Ahmad Mir, accidently slipped and fell into a pond.

Soon after the news spread, the locals joined by Handwara Police, Army’s 21 RR and SDRF.

After several hours of strenuous efforts, the body was retrieved this evening.

Confirming the retrieval of the body from the pond, a police official told AIfaaz – The Words that the body will be handed over to the family after conduct of necessary medico-legal formalities.
