Black Bear Found in Injured Condition in Lolab, Kupwara

Kupwara: A black bear was found in injured condition in Jundyal Dardpora area of Lolab on Thursday afternoon.

The bear was sighted by locals, who immediately informed the authorities, following which a team from Wildlife Department reached the spot and is attending to the situation.

The condition of the animal is being assessed and necessary steps are being taken in accordance with established wildlife procedures.

Residents in the meantime have been advised to refrain from approaching the animal.
