Black Bear Captured Alive in Kupwara’s Drugmulla Village

Drugmulla [Kupwara]: Wildlife Department has captured a black bear in Drugmulla village in this north Kashmir district on Tuesday.

Reports said that a black bear was caged and subsequently tranquilised by a team of Wildlife Department at Marble Colony, Drugmulla this morning.

The bear continues to remain caged at the site, as the Department has no vehicle at hand to ferry and rescue it.

Meanwhile, the Wildlife Department employees at the site are maintaining a strict vigil to prevent any harm to the caged beast, till it is removed to some safer place.
